God's Glory is a Sunrise

“Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you. Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you. All nations will come to your light; mighty kings will come to see your radiance.”

Isaiah 60:1-3, NLT

The world today is in the black of midnight, but rest assured - dawn is coming! The glory of the Lord is like the beauty of sunrise breaking over the horizon for all to see. Colors blend together in a marvelous display of God’s artistic hand as the world wakes up for the start of a new day. As the sun pushes back the darkness of night, so the Light of God pushes back the darkness of the world around us. Darkness cannot overcome light. The light will always overpower the places where darkness tries to hide. So also the Light of God’s glory will always push back the darkness of the enemy and cover his evil schemes. Darkness cannot win. All nations of the earth will see and be drawn to the Light of God.
